This charming restaurant is known for serving hearty, straightforward French fare in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere, making it a beloved stop for a satisfying meal before or after a day of excitement.
While the menu is succinct and may require a touch of curiosity to navigate, Le Tertre Rouge shines with popular offerings such as well-cooked sirloin filet and classic sausage baguettes accompanied by crispy chips—dishes that are simple yet flavorful, designed to satisfy appetites both large and small. Despite a few reports of subtle seasoning nuances, the food generally delivers warmth and comfort, accentuated by the bustling, friendly vibe that permeates the space during busy race weekends and weekday lunches.
The restaurant is particularly praised for its dog-friendly policy and convenient on-site parking, adding to a stress-free visit. The staff consistently earn compliments for their friendliness and willingness to assist, especially in overcoming language barriers for English-speaking guests—a gesture that enhances the welcoming spirit of this local gem. The lively bar atmosphere, especially during the legendary 24-hour race events, is a testament to Le Tertre Rouge’s role as more than just a place to eat, but a spot to soak up the local culture and convivial energy.
Though the absence of a printed table menu can feel like a guessing game, the experience fosters a charming spontaneity, inviting diners to engage with the staff and each other. Reservations are advisable, as the spot fills quickly with race-goers, Technoparc workers, and regulars alike, drawn by the affordable prices and hearty portions.

We have stopped for quick lunch, the opening hours were until 4pm , but they stopped serving lunch by 3pm, so only could have the snacks instead of main meal. The staff was friendly, the main waitress didn't speak English so she asked her colleague to assist, it was really nice gesture. Dog friendly. Has parking on the site.

Placed in a great location and I can imagine the atmosphere would be brilliant during an event whereby the 24h layout is used. There are no table menus, it was a bit of a guessing game trying to figure out what to order. Waitress spoke a little English and whilst I am still learning French it was difficult for us. The food we ordered was sirloin filet, unfortunately it was not seasoned and was very bland. However the buffet starter and sides were nice.

Nice little restaurant usually open just for lunch. Located right at the beginning of the Hunaudières road, nearby the Marie Marvingt stadium (ex MMArena). Affordable prices (around 15 euros for 2 dishes). Clients are mostly Technoparc workers. Nice atmosphere and good service. Often busy so reservation recommended

Fantastic bar to visit while you're at the 24 hour. Really well organised so you can get served food and drink quickly. Reasonable prices too. Highly recommended the sausage baguette with chips. If only the ACO were even half as well organised as this bar!
